A little about me
Hello! My name is Erica Hurlburt, and I am a portrait photographer serving Ventura County. I am excited to have the opportunity to provide your school with fine art school portraits.
My goal is to provide a better and more personal experience to all the families who attend Little Tree Preschool. Please review this page for some answers to commonly asked questions.
What is a fine art school portrait?
Fine Art School Portraits are a modern approach to school photos. They’re meant to bring out the true personalities of the children being photographed. I use a “less is more” approach to create portraits that are true to the child on the other side of the lens. This results in images that are natural, classic and soulful.
What should my child wear?
Please avoid graphics or neon clothing. Solid colors and minimalistic patterns are best. All shots (other than the whole class photo) are from the shoulders up.
How will I order?
Within three weeks of your child’s photo day, you will be e-mailed the link to a class proofing gallery. There will be 2-5 images of each child. Images will be in both color and black and white. I do not choose which photos you print - you do! You will be able to order prints and digital files directly from the viewing gallery. The ordering process is simple and secure. The gallery will be live for two weeks. All orders must be placed in that two-week period! Purchases of digital photos are delivered right away to your email, and print orders will be delivered to your school within four weeks.
