Hello!
My name is Erica Hurlburt, and I am a portrait photographer serving Ventura County. I am excited to have the opportunity to provide your school with portraits this year.
My goal is to provide a better and more personal experience to all the families at the schools I work with. Please review this page for some answers to commonly asked questions.
We have two young children. I love to capture their personalities and their joy.
My student attends Monday through Friday. Will their photos be on Tuesday or Wednesday?
All students who attend 5 days a week will be photographed on Tuesday, September 19th.
What will the backdrop be for my student's portrait?
All students' portraits will be photographed outside on the preschool grounds. The background will be natural, and if I do my job right as your photographer, their expressions will be natural, too. I take a modern approach to school photos and do my best to bring out the true personalities of the children being photographed.
What should my child wear?
Please avoid big graphics or neon clothing. Solid colors and minimalistic patterns are best.
How will I order?
Within three weeks of your child’s photo day, you will be e-mailed the link to a class proofing gallery. There will be 2-5 images of each child plus their class photo. I do not choose which photos you print - you do! You will be able to order prints and digital files directly from the viewing gallery. The ordering process is simple and secure. The gallery will be live for two weeks. All orders must be placed in that two-week period! Purchases of digital photos are delivered right away to your email, and print orders will be delivered to your school within four weeks.
