I always say my husband and I are "opposite Floridians." He loves the snow since he didn't grow up around it. I hate the snow since I didn't grow up around it. My blood isn't thick enough, my driving abilities aren't good enough, and cabin fever is not my jam. You know what does love snow though (aside from my husband)? The camera. It's a natural reflector, and it's a beautiful backdrop. I've been wanting to offer a mini session in the snow for a while now, but it's hard to plan one. You never know just how much snow you're going to get, you don't know if people will be able to make it to you for photos, and there's not a lot of time to promote it before it all melts away. Enter: bomb cyclone 2018. Norfolk got TEN INCHES of snow, and it didn't melt away for days. Finally I had a chance to get some snow portraits done for the brave souls who dealt with the bad roads and the cold so we could get these special shots. Enjoy!
