It's that time of year.
Fall is the busiest time for family photographers - and rightfully so! As the weather starts to crisp up and the holidays approach, families are reminded of another year gone by and importance of documenting where they are now. Whether you're newlyweds, newly parents or a seasoned mom and dad, your family is beautiful, and it deserves to be captured that way.
What to expect
Fun! Okay? It's fun! I promise.
As a mom myself, I know very well what it's like to choose a location, plan outfits, and then pray for no illness and happy kids when photo time rolls around. Truth bomb: as we all got into the car to do our own photos in August, I said to my husband, "I'm already over this."
So yeah, I know, it's a lot of work to get everyone ready. That's why I make the process as painless as possible for you. Prior to your session, I'll scout out the perfect location. I'll share tips for dressing yourself and your family and provide specific feedback for you on the outfits you select.
And when photo time rolls around, it will be fun. We'll play. We'll laugh. It'll be like we're just hanging out, and you'll end up with some fabulous photos that document the whole thing.
My goal is to create an easy and fun photo experience for your family. I want you to enjoy the time you spend together in front of my camera so that you can walk away not only with memories of the fun you had, but with images you'll cherish and display for years to come.
Here's a favorite from that session in August. I planned our outfits in advance and brought my tripod along to capture images of my own family. It's a lot of work, but I practice what I preach, and I am so glad we have these photos now!
Location
This session is for families and will be at a park. There will be trees and some flat areas as a backdrop. You will receive at least 10 digital images in both color and black and white (20 total). Additional prints and/or holiday cards can be ordered directly from your gallery link as well. Session location will be provided closer to the session date but will be in Ventura County.
